You sound a lot better than him, deeper and more sultry than he could ever hope to be. IF you really did sound like he does I would never hang out with you. And yes I'm that shallow, his voice really bugs me.Cuteyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06603916018158506394noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2973534838703646955.post-40617075133766283002008-06-12T12:54:00.000-06:002008-06-12T12:54:00.000-06:00ah, but at least you notice your habit and are try...ah, but at least you notice your habit and are trying to do something about it.

Many people don't even notice when they do stuff like that. It took me being videotaped to realized that I play with my hair when I'm teaching. I have to pin it up or spend a great deal of effort to make sure I don't do that.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2973534838703646955.post-72492726751836425402008-06-10T19:05:00.000-06:002008-06-10T19:05:00.000-06:00Heh, as long as you don't slow down too much, beca...Heh, as long as you don't slow down too much, because then you just sound—wait for it—slow. The problem comes when I'm in the middle of a conversation and I suddenly think of something (the solution to a bug, for example) that wasn't in my head three seconds before. I won't have had the opportunity to plan out the phrasing ahead of time, so I tend to stumble when I'm trying to explain my thoughts.Roberthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11344831083282304279noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2973534838703646955.post-15302767838946768202008-06-06T14:10:00.000-06:002008-06-06T14:10:00.000-06:00I've noticed that when the "brethren" are talking ...I've noticed that when the "brethren" are talking in public they tend to talk very slow. THINKING first and then talking about the subject at hand. My parents have tried to get me to do this for years yet the only way I can slow down is to stutter. Might want to try that too.Cuteyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06603916018158506394noreply@blogger.com
